My daughter absolutely adores her new Ballet Dress from Alice + Ames. When I first showed it to her, she couldn’t wait to try it on! I wasn’t sure if she’d like the color, but she ended up loving the pretty the Sunflower color, which is a nice mustardy yellow. It’s the perfect color for Fall. Once she tried it on, she fell in love even more. The dress is super twirly. Once she started, she just couldn’t stop twirling and dancing around and around. She was having a blast and didn’t want to take it off.
Not only is it cute and twirly, the Ballet Dress is also very well-made. The fabric is nice and thick with a bit of stretch. It’s so comfy! It’s made of 95% cotton and 5% lycra. It’s also made in the USA, which is even more of a reason for me to love this dress, almost as much as my daughter.
The Ballet Dress has turned out to be one of her favorites! I’m not just saying that because she likes it. It really is one of her go-to’s! In fact, it’s the dress she specifically picked out as her “birthday dress”. We packed it up and bought it all the way to Bali, where we celebrated her 8th birthday. It was such a fun day, and she felt beautiful all dressed up. She was the first to get ready for her special day out, and was excited to take some birthday photos twirling and dancing for the camera. She was also excited to show everyone just how twirly her dress was. Twirly, comfy and cute. What more could you ask for? I absolutely love the quality, comfort and simplicity of it.
It was a fantastic birthday, made even better with this cute and comfy dress from Alice + Ames.
