My daughter just graduated from preschool! I can’t believe how fast the time has gone by. It was a great graduation ceremony with lots of friends and family. The kids each wore a cap and gown, they looked adorable! They sang a few songs and told the audience what they wanted to be when they grew up. So, what do they want to be? A fireman, scuba diver, hunter, and bus driver were some of the boys responses. The girls wanted to be makeup artists, nail technicians, mommy’s, nurses, and my daughter said she wants to be a hula teacher! The ceremony ended with a slide show featuring the graduating preschool class of 2012.
After the graduation ceremony the kids went outside where they were flooded with leis and gifts from friends and family. Giving graduates leis is a tradition in Hawaii. My daughter couldn’t wait to get them off! lol. She said they were too heavy, so unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture of her covered in leis! It was such a big deal, almost as if they were graduating from high school! Being that I have never been to a preschool graduation, I had no idea what to expect.

A Hula Teacher – That’s adorable!! Your daughter is precious 🙂 I wish where my boys go to preschool they did the graduation thing. But at the end of the year, they just get a certificate.
