Two Bite Avocado Brownies

These yummy brownies feature a special ingredient.  LIVfit Superfood® Organic Cacao Powder. You get the great chocolate taste with the added benefits of organic cacao superfood. Benefits include protein, antioxidant flavanols and polyphenols, plus vitamins, minerals and natural fiber. Delicious and good for you? What’s not to love? These brownies also include one of my favorite foods, avocado! I’d eat an avocado a day if I could. Not only are they delicious, they’re also very good for you.

avocado brownies recipe

Ingredients

1 avocado

1/4 c Manuka honey

1/2 c unsweetened apple sauce

2/3 c BBF organic coconut flower

1/4 c LIVfit Superfood® cacao

1 tsp BBF organic bourbon madagascar vanilla

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 350
Mash the avocado (you don’t want any chunks) & mix it well with the honey & apple sauce. (I find that microwaving the honey for 30 seconds makes it easier to mix)
Add the coconut flour & cocao powder and stir well
Once everything is incorporated and there isn’t any clumps left, add in the vanilla extract
Pour the batter into mini muffin containers & bake in the oven for 15 minutes. This makes 24 brownies. Note- I only had one mini muffin container so I had to cook them in two batches.

If you enjoy the LIVfit Superfood® Organic Cacao Powder, you’ll have to try the Organic LIVfit Superfood Blend with Protein. I add it into my bowl of oatmeal every morning! It’s a fully vegan blend made from whole fruit and vegetable concentrates and enriched with pea protein. It contains a bunch of  “superfoods” including pea protein, flax seed powder, chia seed powder, hemp protein, green tea extract and a healthy dose of Vitamins B & C (just to name a few).
