I’ve always loved Melissa & Doug products so when I saw there was a line of sand toys, I knew my daughters would have to have them. We have the Baking Set
The sea creature inspired baking set includes a mixing bowl, shell shaped measuring cups an octopus whisk and crab mixing spoon. The turtle lid on the mixing bowl can also be used as a sifter. All pieces can be easily stored in the mixing bowl when done. But be careful as the lid doesn’t stay on very tight, so if you turn it over, chances are everything will fall out! The ice cream set includes 2 seahorse scoops, 2 cones, 1 sprinkles shaker, and a bucket with a handle and lid. These sets truly are adorable! My mom bought the sets for my girls just in time for our Summer beach days. We found them at Amazon for a great price.

Can you tell me, is it all solid for the container. I have to carry a rubbermaid bin in the car to hold all sand toys. I do not like sand all over my car when they roll around. If this was solid on the outside (and the lid stayed on better), I could just rinse the outside off with water and throw it in the car. I love their toys, great review, my son would live in the sandbox if he could!!
Hi Jennifer! Yes, The bucket is solid plastic. The lid to the ice cream set stays on a little better than the baking set. I highly recommend these sets, your son will love them!
