10 Thanksgiving Turkey Crafts for Kids

As Thanksgiving draws near, I’ve been searching for some fun crafts I can do with the girls. When I think of Thanksgiving, I think of TURKEY! That’s why I’ve decided to feature some awesome Thanksgiving Turkey crafts. These crafts are fun and easy enough for kids to do. There are some great ideas here using all kinds of materials such as styrofoam, construction paper, paint chips, coffee filters, and even your old CDs!

My girls enjoy getting crafty and creative. I’m often so busy, I need to remind myself to take some time out to spend quality time with my girls doing fun things like these crafts. They certainly love making the best use of any piece of item they get.

Well, although I love them doing all this creative stuff, I don’t want them to be limited to just these. Sure, crafts provide a great gateway for creativity, but I would want them to explore some outdoor fun as well, pretty soon. Perhaps I should get them to try a Hoverboard toy or let them try bicycling or something similar.

However, these are all just in the planning stage in my head. And before they come to fruition, I would ensure that my girls do their best in the things they are doing now. In fact, I showed my little ones some ideas for thanksgiving crafts and they’re excited to try a few of them. We’ll be having a Turkey craft night sometime soon!

Take a look at the ideas below and choose your favorite craft or two. Enjoy some quality crafting time with your little loved ones. Most importantly, have fun and make everlasting memories.

Oh some of these bring back memories from when my kids were in elementary school. Also there are some great ones that I can do with my great grandkids.

These are adorable! I can using using simple materials for the youngest kids as well as more elaborate materials–glitter, beads, buttons, etc–for older kids.
