This was our second year hosting a Disney Side Home Celebration. I was so excited to get the party started, as I knew my friends and family were going to love sharing some time with us celebrating all things Disney. After last year’s party, my family was so excited about Disney, that we ended up booking a trip to Disneyland!
As guests began to show up, they were greeted by some Disney music streaming from Pandora. The songs really got us all in the Disney spirit! Who can resist singing along to awesome Disney classics!
I decorated the area using some party supplies I received in the box of goodies I received. The Mickey and Friends decor was really cute. I used one table to display party games as well as the girls photo books from our trip to California in October. It features tons of pictures from Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Park. I also placed our family photo on the table in a special frame I got from Disneyland.
We started off the party with some fun activities including Pin the Mouth on Mickey Mouse which the kids (and some adults) loved. After that, we had lunch. I made some Mickey Mouse Pizza’s by arranging the pepperoni as Mickey’s before baking it in the oven. It was a fun and simple meal, and we all know everyone loves pizza!
After lunch we played Disney Bingo. I used Mickey & Friends stickers as markers and when the game was done, everyone could keep their stickers. We hung out, talked, shared experiences of past Disney trips, and thoroughly enjoyed each others company. Everyone loved looking through the photo books, and all the pictures. The girls enjoyed sharing about their time spent at Disneyland and California Adventure Park. Having this party really makes me want to go again!
As the party came to an end, I handed out party favors to all the guests. Each family received a bag filled with fun goodies including Disney luggage tags! The kids got mini favor baskets which included a pencil, stickers and Disney Princess nail polish.
It was a wonderful party enjoyed by all. I had a few guests mention how much they want to plan a Disney vacation for their family. The love and excitement of Disney really does spread when you share the Disney Magic!
