There’s always at least one person on your gift list who’s hard to shop for due to the fact that they already have everything they could want or need. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get that person a gift. Everyone enjoys receiving a nice, thoughtful gift every now and then.
The New York Times Store has an interesting selection of products which make great gifts for those who are hard to shop for. I received the Personalized Your Special Day: Holiday Edition Book which I think is pretty neat and unique. It’s one of those things I’d never think of buying for myself, but had I received it as a gift, it would be quite special.
The New York Times Your Special Day book is personalized for the recipient. Their name will appear in gold lettering on the cover along with the date of Your Special Day. The large book is adorned with a festive red leatherette cover, perfect for Holiday gifting. This holiday book commemorates a birthday, anniversary, retirement, first Christmas or any momentous date with a portrait of the world on that day as captured by The New York Times. Exclusively available from The New York Times Store, this memory book contains the day’s complete newspaper whenever possible.
I chose to have a book featuring the day I was born. It was very interesting to look through the book, browse through the reprinted pages and view the headlines, articles and photos that made history on the day of my birth. It really brought me back in time, as the world is so different now. The book was full of articles and advertisements. I found the adds to be pretty interesting as products and prices were so different at that day and age.
The New York Times Your Special Day Book is perfect for anyone wishing to give a unique and thoughtful gift to a friend or loved one. It’s a gift that’s made to last and will be enjoyed for years to come. It can be purchased from The New York Times Store from $89.95.
