There have been nights where I toss and turn and only get a few hours of sleep. When I get up in the morning after nights like that, I don’t feel ready for my day. All I want is more sleep! Exercise Frequently – Exercise is probably one of those things I’ve dreaded the most! That is, until I realized there’s more than one type of exercise. Running and jogging just isn’t for me. However, I don’t mind hiking or going for walks. A few brisk strolls around the mall or Target count as exercise for me some days. If you like to dance, put on some music and get to dancing! Find something you don’t mind doing and get your heart pumping. The goal for exercise is to do anything but sit down all day. Get up and get moving!
Eat a Healthy, Balanced Diet – Feed your body good. Feed it the nutrients it needs. As a family, we try to eat healthy foods as much as possible. Once in a while, we may cheat a little (the occasional ice cream doesn’t hurt). But even when we do get a special treat, we look for the “healthiest” option possible.
