Christmas Cookie Creations with Walkers Shortbread Cookies

Walkers Shortbread Christmas Cookies

I received product to facilitate this post.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If you’re anything like me, your home can be a little hectic during the holidays.  I love doing festive activities with the kids, but I rarely seem to have enough time.  It’s always nice to have simple, easy options that are lots of fun and stress free.

I recently had the opportunity to decorate some Walkers Pure Butter Shortbread Festive Shapes Cookies.  These delicious cookies are a product of Scotland.  They are made with the finest ingredients and are free of artificial flavorings or colors.  I was sent a package of cookies, some icing, and holiday sprinkles to kick off the holiday season with some cookie decorating fun!  Christmas cookies without the baking?  Sounds perfect to me.

Walkers festive shapes Cookies come in great Christmasy shapes including Santa, a Christmas tree, a star and a bell.  The cookies feature imprints which help to guide you when decorating.  My daughter really enjoyed this activity and didn’t want to stop decorating.  She decorated almost every cookie in the package (I did a few too).  It was lots of fun.  After we were done, we ate some, and saved some to share.  They were yummy!

My oldest daughter was at school while we were decorating the cookies.  Since she missed out on the fun, I’m going to see if I can find another package of these cookies the next time I go shopping as well as a variety of icing colors.  We’ll decorate these on Christmas Eve and leave them out for Santa.  Im sure he’ll really get a kick out of our fun and festive creations!
