Waipi’o Valley is home to a beautiful Black Sand Beach. We spent the day there swimming in the river and playing in the sand! The river flows out to the ocean, but the ocean was too rough for the kids, so we stuck to the river! It was a beautiful sunny day. We need to have days like this more often.
