We finally had the chance to get some kids together to join us for a Disney Kids Preschool Playdate. This was the third time we’ve hosted a Disney party, and it’s always so much fun. Not only for the kids, but for the parents too! Who doesn’t love Disney? As soon as I start planning a party, It always makes me want to start planning a Disney vacation. The first time we hosted a party, we ended up going to Disneyland a few months later. Now…I want to go to Disney World!

We received an awesome box filled with supplies to help make our party extra special. Also included in our party kit was a Sofia the First rolling suitcase from American Tourister. It’s perfect for my little princess to bring on our future travels.
We got the party started with some “Decorate Your Own Mickey Pancakes”. The kids had fun decorating their pancakes with blueberries and chocolate chips. Next we had lots of activities to pass the time. We played “Guess The Disney Character” with the character cards provided in our kit. You can easily make your own as well. For the game I had each child pick a card without showing anyone. Then, they got to give one clue to help everyone guess. Everyone had one guess each before a second clue was given. If no one could guess the character by the second clue, they were each able to ask one question until someone was able to guess correctly. Whoever guessed the character got to keep the card.
After playing “Guess The Disney Character” we talked about the 4 different parks in Disney World – Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. I showed the kids the little Animal Kingdom animals I received in my kit and told them they’d be searching for the animals soon. I had them go into another room for a few minutes while I quickly hid the animals. They all had a blast searching for the various safari animals. In the end, each child was able to choose one animal to take home with them.
Finally, to end our little playdate, I had the kids settle down for a Puppet Making craft. They each chose a character and designed their puppets using the printables I was provided in my kit. It was nice to see them showing off their creativity as they worked on their puppets.
As always, we are so happy to have had the opportunity to host a Disney Party for friends and family. The Disney Kids Preschool Playdate is one that will be remembered and talked about for some time to come. Everyone who attended loved every minute of it. I sent each child off with a Disney Junior “Goody Bag” backpack filled with great Disney items such as a Lion Guard poster and tattoos, Disney World preschool map and more.
I’ve already heard a few families talking about future Disneyland and Disney World vacations. Being to one of these parties definitely brings out the excitement. I can’t wait to bring my family on a Disney World vacation. We’re planning a visit for Fall of 2017.
