We live a little over 10 miles away from my daughter's Elementary School, so driving her to school every day takes a lot of time and gas. As you can imagine, this isn't ideal, but when it comes to the education of my children, they deserve the best. But I just wish it was closer. I know that most countries, like the UK, have catchment areas explained to them so they can find the best school in their area. I'm hoping for their sake that it is under 10 miles, but that is up to them to decide, I guess. My daughter is none the wiser when it comes to how far away it is, which I'm grateful for.
