I wanted to use a can of peaches I’ve had for a while. They weren’t very sweet eaten straight out of the can, so it’s just been sitting there. I decided on a topping for ice cream! It was very easy to make, and very tasty!
Ingredients:
1 block of butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 can of peaches
First you put the butter in a pan. Once it starts to melt, add the brown sugar and stir. Drain the juices out of the can of peaches then add the peaches to the brown sugar and butter mixture. Cook for a few minutes then pour over ice cream! I ate mine right away, but I noticed as the mixture sat, it thickened a little, so if you’d like a slightly thicker sauc, wait a few minutes befor eating! The next time I make this, I think i’ll try cutting up the peaches into bite sized pieces. Either way, you’ll enjoy it!
