Pilot Pens *2013 Holiday Gift Idea*

pilot pens

Pens are one of those things that everyone needs and uses often.  Pilot offers a wide variety of pens that would make wonderful gifts for the upcoming Holidays.

The Metropolitan pen is stylish and practical.  Featuring a brass barrel and stainless accents, the Metropolitan comes in three matte finishes and barrel designs including a fountain pen, ballpoint, or gel roller.  I received the gold colored ballpoint pen which retails for $16.  It’s an attractive pen, and writes smoothly.  It’s probably one of the best pen I’ve ever used!  I also really loved that it comes in it’s very own box.  It’s perfect for gift-giving.

Pilot also has a bunch of lower priced pens that would make great stocking stuffers.  They have a FriXion Clicker which is pretty neat.  It’s an erasable pen!  The FriXion Clicker’s heat sensitive ink disappears with friction allowing you to erase an re-write.  The B2P is made of recycled plastic bottles.  This earth friendly pen is perfect for those who are all for “going green”.  G2 Fashion pens are known to last two times longer than other gel ink pens. They come with fashionable designs so they don’t look like any ordinary pen.

The prices of these pens vary depending on where you purchase them from and the various styles.  They range from $2.84 for a two pack up to $5.24 for a three pack.

I’ve used the G2 gel pens before and really like them. I’ve had Carpal tunnel syndrome twice in my life and the gel really helps lessen the pain when writing. Fortunately my non-dominant hand has more of the problems. I should stock up on these pens if they go on sale.

I love pens of all colors, shapes, and sizes. I get upset when I can’t find my favorite pens…generally I will then find them in Boo’s room.

You’re right, too…they would make an excellent stocking stuffer and I never thought about that before. Would also make a nice gift for my banker son.

I was cleaning out my office yesterday and was shocked at how many pens I have stocked up on, they are Pilot because that is the best. I love the Acroball ones.

We have an elf that steals all of our pens. I even buy them by the case to no avail. Maybe the hubs will buy some pens as stocking stuffers. At least they’re functional, and not doxie lures like candy.

I am obsessed with office supplies. In my opinion, you can never have too many pens (they tend to walk off) or types of pens (some things call for a fine point, and others something more bold). Pilot is an awesome brand, and unlike some of the bargain brands, last longer than a few uses.

I used to have lots of beautiful pens, haven’t had a decent one in a while. This would make a great stuffing stuffer for me .. I just might drop a hint to the hubs. 😉

I love that gold Pilot pen you have. I am an ink pen addict, if they have such a thing. I would be it. I love a pen that flows and rolls easily when you use it. I am crazy for the gel pens and I’m crazy for Pilot Pens. They really do make the best ink pens anywhere. There price are reasonable too.
