Dropcam was developed by co-founders Greg Duffy and Aamir Virani after Greg’s father desperately wanted to figure out which local dog was making a mess of his yard. One of my favorite things about the Dropcam Pro is that right from your smart phone you can turn the camera on and off and receive text or email notifications of movement and audio! We personally use our Dropcam Pro at home to keep an eye on the dogs when we are out and about and I love that the camera sends me a text message when there is movement, it’s very helpful to see if the dogs are at the door barking at something and to watch to make sure no intruders enter the home!
