Both of my daughters LOVE horses.  My 5 year old loves to get dressed up in her Cowgirl attire whenever she goes riding.  My parents are part owners of a Horseback tour company here in Hawaii, so the girls are lucky!  If you're ever in Hawaii, check out the Waipi'o Ridge Stables.   It's a great tour and you get to ride above the beautiful Waipi'o Valley.  Children have to be at least eight to go on a tour. Has the time flown by or what?!  Five years ago...I rushed to the hospital 6 weeks before my due date...and gave birth to my beautiful baby girl!  What an experience that was!  I gave birth at 34 weeks to a tiny 5 lbs. 4 oz. baby girl.  After less than a week in the NICU she was ready to come home.  and now...that little baby is no longer a baby.....she is 5!  We celebrated her birthday last weekend at the Puako Condos.  We stayed two nights and enjoyed some time at the beach and the pool.  She requested a brownie "cake" for her birthday night.  Then we had a little party on the 7th (her Keep reading...

I haven't posted in over a week!  I've been BUSY...BUSY...BUSY!  We celebrated my 29th birthday on the 22nd.  Yes...just one more year before turning the big 3-0!  My hubby, daughters, and I went to Macaroni Grill for dinner.  We rarely ever go out to nice restaurants...so it was nice, BUT the food could have been better!  I won't be eating their again!  We decorated a Gingerbread house..lots of fun!  This is the second year we've done it.  Got the gingerbread house kit from Costco for around $10.  I think it's a great deal as it comes pre-assembled, and includes 4 Gingerbread men, the Keep reading...

I must say, this year sure has flown by! Christmas is less than two weeks away! Where has the time gone? I love the holidays and everything that comes with it. I know some people find it to be a stressful time, but not me! Honestly, I know why some people feel that way. From decorating the house to buying gifts, especially for teenage girls. There are so many things to present them, from clutches to a cosmetic product from the Soda Makeup Brand or a new dress, that it can be overwhelming to select one. Gosh, i can't believe how fast the year has flown by! My baby will be one in less than a week. I really need to get on with her Birthday Party preperations! So lately my daughter is always dying to get her hands on the wipes container! If i forget to put it up, she'll find it. She's figured out how to open it up, than sticks her tiny hand in and pulls out all the wipes! She'll scream when I take it away from her. Sometimes I think, "what's the point of toys?" when it's the simple non-toy items that they really like! I've decided that once we use up all the wipes in there, i'll fill it up with little things (big enough, that she can't choke on them of course), and let her play away! Keep reading...

So, I finally found something my picky eater WANTS to eat! KIX Cereal. I figure it's better than her snacks, it's nutritious, so why not? I've actually found that since she's been eating kix, she's gotten a little more of an appetite, and actually nearly finished up a bottle of baby food in one sitting!
