Horseback Riding in Hawaii
Both of my daughters LOVE horses. My 5 year old loves to get dressed up in her Cowgirl attire whenever she goes riding. My parents are part owners of a Horseback tour company here in Hawaii, so the girls are lucky! If you're ever in Hawaii, check out the Waipi'o Ridge Stables. It's a great tour and you get to ride above the beautiful Waipi'o Valley. Children have to be at least eight to go on a tour. Keep reading...
iPad 2 for Kids?
I know a lot of people think we're crazy for getting our daughter her very own iPad 2 for Christmas. My hubby actually thought I was crazy when I first told him! lol. It wasn't until Black Friday that I finally talked him in to get it. We got it directly through apple, I believe it was $41 off. I also shopped through rebates and saved an extra 2% on the purchase. So it ended up being a decent deal for an iPad 2.I wanted to get her something that she'd really make use of. The way I see it is, you could spend A LOT on toys, and have them play with them once, or you can get Keep reading...
5th Birthday Weekend
Has the time flown by or what?! Five years ago...I rushed to the hospital 6 weeks before my due date...and gave birth to my beautiful baby girl! What an experience that was! I gave birth at 34 weeks to a tiny 5 lbs. 4 oz. baby girl. After less than a week in the NICU she was ready to come home. and now...that little baby is no longer a baby.....she is 5! We celebrated her birthday last weekend at the Puako Condos. We stayed two nights and enjoyed some time at the beach and the pool. She requested a brownie "cake" for her birthday night. Then we had a little party on the 7th (her Keep reading...
It’s been awhile…Birthday & Christmas celebrations!
I haven't posted in over a week! I've been BUSY...BUSY...BUSY! We celebrated my 29th birthday on the 22nd. Yes...just one more year before turning the big 3-0! My hubby, daughters, and I went to Macaroni Grill for dinner. We rarely ever go out to nice restaurants...so it was nice, BUT the food could have been better! I won't be eating their again! We decorated a Gingerbread house..lots of fun! This is the second year we've done it. Got the gingerbread house kit from Costco for around $10. I think it's a great deal as it comes pre-assembled, and includes 4 Gingerbread men, the Keep reading...
It’s Beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS!
I must say, this year sure has flown by! Christmas is less than two weeks away! Where has the time gone? I love the holidays and everything that comes with it. I know some people find it to be a stressful time, but not me! Honestly, I know why some people feel that way. From decorating the house to buying gifts, especially for teenage girls. There are so many things to present them, from clutches to a cosmetic product from the Soda Makeup Brand or a new dress, that it can be overwhelming to select one. Not to forget the decorations which might need a lot of effort. Hence, Keep reading...

Under The Sea Mermaid Birthday Party
We celebrated my baby girls first birthday yesterday with an "under the sea" themed party. It was a whole lot of fun! I'm so proud of myself for making the sign and decorations. I'm not the craftiest, but when I put my mind to something, I can definitely get it done. I think it all came out pretty good, being it's the first time I made everything on my own. My goal was too make it nice and cute while sticking to a budget. I made the "Happy Birthday" sign using assorted colors of cardstock. After gluing the letters onto each piece, I joined each square together Keep reading...
I can’t believe she’s almost 1!
Gosh, i can't believe how fast the year has flown by! My baby will be one in less than a week. I really need to get on with her Birthday Party preperations! She's having an "Under The Sea" party that i'll be sharing with all of you! I've started on her starfish mermaid wands, I'll have to take some pics so I can share them here. I think they're pretty cute! We're having a small party on the 8th of October, so I have a couple weeks to get everything together. Here's the invite I made. Keep reading...
Huggies Wipes Container – Her new Favorite Toy
So lately my daughter is always dying to get her hands on the wipes container! If i forget to put it up, she'll find it. She's figured out how to open it up, than sticks her tiny hand in and pulls out all the wipes! She'll scream when I take it away from her. Sometimes I think, "what's the point of toys?" when it's the simple non-toy items that they really like! I've decided that once we use up all the wipes in there, i'll fill it up with little things (big enough, that she can't choke on them of course), and let her play away! Keep reading...
KIX, it’s what’s for Breakfast, Lunch, AND Dinner!
So, I finally found something my picky eater WANTS to eat! KIX Cereal. I figure it's better than her snacks, it's nutritious, so why not? I've actually found that since she's been eating kix, she's gotten a little more of an appetite, and actually nearly finished up a bottle of baby food in one sitting! I'm hoping this will help her gain some weight by her one year check-up. We shall see... Keep reading...
