So lately my daughter is always dying to get her hands on the wipes container! If i forget to put it up, she’ll find it. She’s figured out how to open it up, than sticks her tiny hand in and pulls out all the wipes! She’ll scream when I take it away from her. Sometimes I think, “what’s the point of toys?” when it’s the simple non-toy items that they really like! I’ve decided that once we use up all the wipes in there, i’ll fill it up with little things (big enough, that she can’t choke on them of course), and let her play away!

This post cracks me up. My daughter is the same way. It’s always the common everyday stuff they seem to love more than anything else. I started recording my daughter playing with stuff like this and posting about it too. My first two are here: http://daddybydefault.com/category/common-household-items-used-as-baby-toys/
one is a wet paper towel, the other is the door stop thingey. She also loves tissue boxes, guitars, dog food and water bowls, and of course…cell phones.
