I participated in a Blog Blast on behalf of Mom Central for Urbini. I received information from Urbini to facilitate my post as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to hear experiences on motherhood from all around the world? Now you can with Mom Voyáge. Mom Voyáge is a community of Mom bloggers sharing their experiences from locations far and near. Featured contributors to the website come from the Netherlands, France, Britain, Holland, Japan, China and Australia as well as the US. Mom Voyáge was created by Urbini to allow moms around the globe to learn how different (and similar) parenting can be in different cultures.
With Mom Voyáge you will get a global perspective on pregnancy and parenting. Read up on various eye-opening topics such as how different cultures name their babies, how they celebrate pregnancies, what their take is on maternity leave, and so much more.
I found it very interesting to see the different ways the birth of an upcoming child is celebrated in different countries. Here in America we often have Baby Showers, and while there are some similarities in these celebrations in different parts of the world, they are all quite unique as well. Did you know, in France, a Baby Shower is held at Baby’s first birthday where both mom and baby are given gifts!
Mom Voyáge is a great resource for moms. You’re guaranteed to learn a lot, and gain a new perspective on parenting worldwide.
