New Earrings! Hawaiian Sunrise Shells

I ordered a custom pair of Sunrise Shell earrings last week, and was so excited to receive them in the mail today! They are beautiful. Hawaiian Sunrise shells are rare, as they are found in the depths of the Pacific Ocean. On occasion, you may be lucky enough to come across one lying on the sand, but more often than not you’ll find that it isn’t whole, or you’ll find tiny pieces of what was once a whole shell. In all my years of shell picking, I have found 5 sunrise shells, it’s like finding treasure in the sand!

The pair of shells my earrings were made of, are absolutely gorgeous! They are about the size of a nickel, and make a great match. They are orange in color with a hint of white and pink. The shells are perfectly wrapped in a 14K Gold filled wire and set inside a gold hoop.
