Being a stay-at-home mom, I’m always looking for ways to make a little extra money. These are two of the ways I earn extra money:
1. Recycle. We recycle our bottles & cans. Although it doesn’t bring in a lot of money, every little bit counts! We get about $15 – $20 a month through recyling.
2. Host Yard Sales. I try to have a yard sale at least once a year. It’s a great way to clear the house of things we don’t really need or use. Unfortunately we don’t live in a very busy area, so we don’t get a very large group of shoppers. But, I usually do okay. At my last yard sale, I made almost $300!
As you can see, I need to find MORE ways to earn money! I got a lot of suggestions from my friends and family. For instance, I can make more than 1000$ a month, perhaps by starting an atm business, which can become a consistent passive income. Similarly, here are some more ideas I have thought of doing, or have done in the past. In the age of numerous side-income opportunities, staying-at-home mothers can earn a substantial income while passing the time. Normally, I like to gather detailed information about a specific source before investing my time in it. To give you an example, if I have to play an online casino, I usually read lots of casino guides (such as NZ casino advice), which can help me make the right decision and earn my fortune. Having said that, I would like to offer some recommendations for beginners who are looking for extra income.
1. Sell Used & Unwanted Items on Craigslist or some other selling website. It is not a bad idea to sell what is no more required. I mean, I heard a lot of people selling their unused stuff, like tractors–usually, they list on Grays and get it sold. However, for me, I used Craigslist. It was the time when we lived in a bigger, more populated area, and I always did well with selling items on the platform. Since we’ve moved, I’ve sold a few things, but it’s harder to get people to drive all the way over here just to pick up some items. We live in a VERY small town, so most buyers would be from farther away.
2. Childcare in my home. I wouldn’t mind watching another child in my home. It would bring in a steady income, and my little one would have a playmate! Again, the problem with this idea is my location! It’s too far from the other towns to make the drive worthwhile for parents.
3. Sell items on Ebay. I used to make a reasonable profit by selling outgrown kids clothes on ebay. I stopped as the cost of shipping has gone up, but I think I may start doing this again. If you have the right items, even with the higher shipping costs, it’s still possible to make a little extra cash.
4 Online side hustles. There are various ways to earn money online, which I find pretty exciting. One way to make a significant amount of money is through betting. Sportsbooks serve as a terrific platform for betting as placing bets and earning money is relatively easy. I have heard that there are some Sportsbook Bonuses for beginners as well. I believe sports fans are more likely to win big since they are familiar with most teams and players.
5. Be Crafty! Make and sell HANDMADE items. Okay, so I’m not the craftiest person around, but I can try! I used to make tutus for little girls and I sold them on consignment at a local Children’s boutique. I actually made a profit of about $10 per tutu, which is a pretty good amount. I stopped when I had my second daughter because I just didn’t have the time. I may start up again. Or maybe I can think of something else to make?

I am always looking for ways to make some extra money, and I’ve thought about ebay and craigslist a lot recently! We had some luck with craigslist when we were moving a couple of years ago, but we haven’t used it since then. We’ve got a lot of stuff that our son has outgrown, so it may be time to try it again!
I’m a new follower! So glad I found your blog!

I love yardsales! Problem is, I am usually spending money at yardsales, not hosting them! Great post! I found you on Mom Bloggers Club in the Get Followers thread and I have liked you on Facebook, followed you on GFC, added you to Google Plus circles, and Networked blogs. I would love the return favor! I also entered the Woman Life giveaway for the necklaces. Thanks!
