It’s Not Too Late to Get Away!

Christmas is one of the best times of the year when you think about all the family get-togethers and holiday fun. It can also be one of the most stressful for those same reasons.

And while there are tons of little things to help with the stress, there’s only one thing that will let you celebrate the holidays stress-free. You guessed it, a vacation! Now imagine if you were in Spain on a vacation, you would not have to worry about the usual things that people wonder about during the holiday season, like running out of plum cakes, or not finding the right Christmas tree. At the most what you could think about is how you would fix your itinerary or how to watch sky go in spain! There would not be an additional pressure of meeting relatives or deciding on gifts for them! Nope, we don’t do that here!

However, when preparing to take a long vacation, say for example, at the vacation rentals in Exuma, there might be a lot of things that need additional attention, such as travel destinations, accommodations, and tickets. As well, sometimes it can be frustrating to organize all the travel arrangements yourself, leading to a hectic and stressful preparation process. For instance, booking air tickets, hiring a chauffeur service, and prearranging accommodation could all prove to be overwhelming if done alone. There is so much to keep in mind while accomplishing these tasks. One would need to compare the prices and so on. The good news, however, is that this stress can be reduced through different methods such as practicing meditation, taking CBD supplements (such as those from purple penthouse), or listening to calming music. In the lead up to a trip, these could be a great way to relieve unwanted stress and keep you in a good mood. Once all the preparations for your vacation have been made, you and your family can relax and enjoy the trip.

You are in luck because it’s not too late to get away for the holidays! There are so many great destinations, but Southern California is my favorite because it’s such a good spot for families. It’s close enough for families near the West Coast to drive to and has more options than most people realize.

Anaheim is the top city people associate with Southern California. It makes sense because it’s home to Disneyland, the Happiest Place on Earth. The resort is even more magical for the holidays, making it an amazing time to visit. Your family will love the Festival of the Holidays celebration and meeting Santa in Disney California Adventure. After watching the holiday fireworks and experiencing the holiday-themed rides in Disneyland, your kids won’t know which park is their favorite!

If you have any thrill-seekers in your family, make sure to take a day to explore Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park too. Knott’s Berry Farm is America’s first theme park and has more than just roller coasters. You can find Camp Snoopy for the little ones and delicious boysenberry jam treats throughout the park. It’s the perfect reason to extend your stay in Anaheim (other than spending more days in Disneyland, of course).

San Diego is also a great choice in Southern California. Your family can enjoy beach fun and more when in sunny San Diego! You’ll also find attractions like SeaWorld San Diego, the San Diego Zoo the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Balboa Park and USS Midway. It’s the perfect destination if you have any littles ones fascinated with animals. Foodies will also love San Diego. Make sure to check out Old Town for the best Mexican food and shopping!

Carlsbad is another sunny spot that’s wonderful for families. You’ll be just as close to the fantastic beaches of La Jolla as you are to LEGOLAND. Your kiddos will have the best time exploring the life-size LEGOs in the park and you’ll love spending long afternoons on the beach. If you’re looking for a new beach destination, Carlsbad may just be it!

Last, but not least, is Los Angeles. Staying in Los Angeles means you’ll be close to most beaches and sports stadiums. Plus, you can visit Universal Studios Hollywood for the holidays, home to Grinchmas in December, a Who-ville celebration where you can meet Martha May, The Grinch and Max. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be open for its first Christmas too, making it the best stop for the Potter-lovers in your family. Even if you don’t know the Harry Potter story, you’ll be amazed at the detail in the Wizarding World. Don’t forget to try the famous Butterbeer before returning to the Muggle world. The holiday season is the perfect time to try their Hot Butterbeer, available only at the Three Broomsticks, while the weather is a little cooler.

As you can see, there are plenty of places you can celebrate the holidays with your family this year. It’s not too late to book either! Wouldn’t your family be so excited if you surprised them with a vacation? It’s sure to be a holiday memory they’ll remember forever.

Book with Get Away Today for the best prices. They still have availability for the weeks leading to Christmas, but you’ll want to hurry before it disappears. Make sure to use the exclusive promo code – MommyLife10 for an additional $10 off your 2 night or longer Southern California vacation package.
