RECIPE: Bananas Foster Dessert

We have bunches of bananas from one of our trees so I decided to have some for dessert!  What better way to eat bananas then on top of some vanilla frozen yogurt?  This Bananas Foster Dessert is extremely simple to make, and so very tasty!!  It’s the perfect after dinner treat.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

2 bananas, sliced
1 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch salt

Directions

1. melt butter
2. add sliced bananas & cook for 2 minutes
3. add sugar, vanilla, cinnamon & salt
4. cook for 2 more minutes
5. spoon mixture over a scoop of ice cream & enjoy!
