We got a lot of great deals in July! Some days our truck was full of great finds, other days we found nothing, but altogether it was a pretty good month for Yard Saling!
Bike & Helmet – $5
This couldn’t have come at a better time, my daughter’s bike was getting too small for her!
Cowboy boots – All for $5
My little Cow Girl was so excited when we found these boots. We bought her a new pair last year for over $50, so this was a score for sure!
Books & DVDs – FREE – $1.00 each
Here’s a few of the books & DVDs we found. I love to read, but I rarely buy a book brand new.
Helmet – $2, Fox Racing Dirt Biking Outfit, boots, Fox goggles & RevoLite Roost Guard – $40 for ALL
Let’s just say my husband was extremely excited with this find! I’m glad he finally has a helmet, and other than the boots, the outfit looks brand new! This would cost hundreds of dollars had he bought it all new.
23×31 Framed Wave Print – $20
This was brand new, the price on the back says it retails for nearly $100!

I’ve really got to start going to yard/garage sales! I usually hit up Once Upon a Child when I want a deal, but I know it’s not even the best we could do!

What awesome deals, I wish we lived where there are a lot of yard sales, Around here there is nothing. Maybe I should start picking a day and going to town where they have more. Thank you for the inspiration

I can rarely get my husband to go with me but I love doing the rounds on Saturday mornings! You never know what stuff you will find. I have found beautiful brand new things that still have the tag on them at yard sales. I looked all over for a matching whicker laundry basket for our bathroom. Oddly enough, found it at our neighbors garage sale when they were getting rid of one given to them as a gift!
My husband enjoys it more than me sometimes! lol. A lot of times people have different tastes, so they’ll be selling something brand new, that I love and they just want to get rid of it! lol

I love yard sales! Our community usually has a 3 day yard sale every year, where everyone has yard sales all over place. We love a great bargin (who doesn’t), and last year we found a brand new longboard someone was selling, it was $200 in the box, and we got it for $40 bucks. My son really wanted one and we didn’t have the money to buy it at retail, so yard sales are great places for a huge deal!
It’s been quite a while since I went to a yard sale. I’ll have to go again soon. There’s so much to find!
