I love that there are so many uses for these jars, and the more I think about it, the more ideas I come up with. So far, I've made a few cups for my daughters teachers, and plan to make more within the next day or two. I'm also thinking up a few ideas for Christmas Keep reading...

Teen Beach Movie – DIY Lela Costume
My six year old daughter loves watching Teen Beach Movie on the Disney Channel. She and her friends enjoy the movie so much, they dance to the songs during recess at school! I'm not surprised that she decided she wanted to be Lela this year. Lela is one of the "Bikers" from the movie which takes place . She wears a Pink Leather Jacket which is the main part of her outfit, so I knew I had to find one if my daughter were to dress up as her for Halloween. DIY Halloween Ghost Costume
This is a super easy costume to make, it literally took me less than 10 minutes! All you need is a plain white t-shirt or onesie, felt, and some thread! I cut the eyes and mouth out of the felt and hand stitched them onto the onesie. That's it! I paired the onesie with a pair of black lace pants, but I think it would look even cuter with a white tutu. I have some white tulle, so I'm thinking I'll try making a tutu. Although superpowers are fictitious, we can make ourselves appear like superheroes by donning the appropriate outfit to make way for the best Halloween appearance. Though there are an endless number of options in all the categories, for my girls, I like Keep reading...
Homemade Slip n’ Slide
It was a beautiful sunny Sunday, and we had no plans. So, we decided to make a big slip n' slide down our hill. The kids had a blast! We used a big tarp and Dawn dishwashing liquid to get it slippery. We do own one of those store bought slip n' slides, and it works well enough, but it's so narrow that the kids usually slide off the sides. That wasn't gonna happen with this one! It was the perfect way to spend a little FUN in the SUN! Keep reading...
