Nautical Themed “Welcome Baby” Party
My newest niece was born on June 5th at just 31 weeks. We had planned to have a Baby Shower for my sister, but baby decided to come before the Baby Shower! She's now 3 months old and doing well. Since she didn't have a Baby Shower, my sister decided to host a "Welcome Baby" party to introduce her lovely little daughter to family and close friends. A Welcome Baby Party is a great option for parents of preemies who didn't have a chance to have a Baby Shower. Both of my girls were born early, and because of that, I missed both baby showers. At the time, I never thought of hosting a Keep reading...

My oldest turned 7, where has the time gone?
I can still vividly remember the day my oldest was born. It doesn't seem like 7 years ago! My beautiful daughter Hilina'i (Pronounced He-Lee-Nuh-EE, it means "to rely on" in Hawaiian) was born on January 6th, 2007, just one day after my dad's birthday. She has grown so much throughout the years. It makes me a little sad to think the time has gone by so quickly! It's so important to cherish every moment you have with your kids, because when people say, "they grow up so fast", they mean it! It is so true. Hilina'i loves the outdoors. She enjoys going to the beach Keep reading...
My Sister’s Mermaid Themed Baby Shower
I loved the way my sister's baby shower turned out. Turquoise and purple were the perfect colors to give it a true mermaid feel. The decor was perfect. The tissue paper pom-pom balls, which were connected together and hung from a beam were my favorite part of the overall decor. They had artificial flowers (like the ones you get at Silk by Design) to keep the place cheery and they looked great for the occasion. For lunch, we had a "make your own" taco bar with fish, shrimp, flour tortilla's and tortilla bowls, spanish rice, and all the toppings. There was also a cheese platter, Keep reading...
Pull Ups House Party
We all really enjoyed our Pull-Ups First Flush Party! There are a bunch of little ones all born within 2 months of each other. Being that they are all in the potty training stage, this party was perfect for all of them! We started off the party by handing out party hats and blowers, they were excited. Having all those two year olds in one room definitely got a little hectic and I knew they wouldn't last inside for long. I opened up a bag of pull-ups and had each of the girls choose between a minnie mouse pull-up and a princess one. Once they chose which one they wanted, they Keep reading...
My niece’s Pink & Green Pool Party
My niece Kaimahie turned two just 3 days after my daughter. She celebrated her birthday with a pool party! Her party colors were pink and green, an adorable combination. I absolutely loved the dessert table. All of the desserts were color coordinated and tasted yummy! Tubes & Beach balls filled the pool for the kids to enjoy! Lunch included steak, lobster, sushi, pulled pork sliders on guava sweetbread, Korean Chicken and a small salad bar. Everything tasted SO GOOD! It Keep reading...
Strawberry 2nd Birthday Party
This past Saturday we celebrated my daughters 2nd birthday with an adorable Strawberry themed birthday party. This wasn't a Strawberry Shortcake Party as I don't normally do character parties, and my daughter has no idea who Strawberry Shortcake is. The Birthday Girl wore a cute strawberry appliquéd tank top from Makmaydesigns. The strawberries were made with a hot pink fabric with red polka dots. I added on a tutu skirt, and it became the perfect attire for a strawberry birthday party! She also loved her princess crown, and wore it proudly. As far as hosting her Keep reading...
