My newest niece was born on June 5th at just 31 weeks. We had planned to have a Baby Shower for my sister, but baby decided to come before the Baby Shower! She's now 3 months old and doing well. Since she didn't have a Baby Shower, my sister decided to host a "Welcome Baby" party to introduce her lovely little daughter to family and close friends. A Welcome Baby Party is a great option for parents of preemies who didn't have a chance to have a Baby Shower. Both of my girls were born early, and because of that, I missed both baby showers. At the time, I never thought of hosting a Keep reading...
5 FREE Things to do in Las Vegas
Although my husband and I found Las Vegas to be surprisingly expensive, there are still a few things you can do for FREE in Vegas. Well, Vegas also offers you the chance to recover your expenses in the form of a casino. If you become too lucky, you can even recover complete expenses and make more profit as well. Maybe a little bit of practice at the best online casino first would help you master some of the games, which could make you luckier! I must say, Keep reading...
Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace – Best Breakfast Buffet in Las Vegas
I love breakfast buffets, but here in Hawaii I rarely get to enjoy them. There's a really good Brunch Buffet at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, but it's over $60 per person. I think that's a bit ridiculous, but I had planned to splurge on my birthday back in December. Unfortunately, when I called a few days before there was no room available. Maybe it was for the better, since it's so ridiculously priced. Ever since then, I've been craving a good brunch buffet! Before going to Las Vegas I researched the different buffets. Nearly every hotel seems to have one. I had heard the Keep reading...

Our Day at the Park – Anuenue Playground
The Anuenue Playground in Waimea on Hawaii's Big Island has got to be one of the coolest playground's around. The expansive wooden structure brings out the excitement in kids of all ages! It's Summer, and living on an island, our options are limited. We've got the beach, playgrounds, a zoo, and a bowling alley. Unfortunately, most of those are quite a drive away, so we spend most of our days at home. I asked the girls what they'd like to do, and they both wanted to go to the park. Since I had a dentist appointment in Waimea, I decided to make it a day Keep reading...

Our Weekend at the Hilton Waikoloa Village
As I mentioned in my daughters 7th Birthday post, she had asked to go to the hotel for her birthday. The Hilton Waikoloa Village is her favorite hotel to stay at, and if you're ever to visit, you'll understand why! It has been over a year since our last visit, so we were all very excited to spend some time there. We were lucky enough to get an early check-in which is awesome. The normal check-in time is 3:00 pm, then you have to check-out at 12:30 the next day. That definitely isn't enough time to enjoy all the hotel has to offer! We got to the hotel at 10:30 am. We would Keep reading...
My oldest turned 7, where has the time gone?
I can still vividly remember the day my oldest was born. It doesn't seem like 7 years ago! My beautiful daughter Hilina'i (Pronounced He-Lee-Nuh-EE, it means "to rely on" in Hawaiian) was born on January 6th, 2007, just one day after my dad's birthday. She has grown so much throughout the years. It makes me a little sad to think the time has gone by so quickly! It's so important to cherish every moment you have with your kids, because when people say, "they grow up so fast", they mean it! It is so true. Hilina'i loves the outdoors. She enjoys going to the beach Keep reading...

My baby is not a baby anymore – Kanai’a turns 3!
My baby is growing up so fast. Where oh where has the time gone? Kanai'a turned 3 years old today. Kanai'a is my little rascal. At times she drives me crazy and reminds me so much of Dennis the Menace. I'm not even kidding! My pretty little girl isn't always naughty though, she can be the sweetest little thing when she wants to be. She says the funniest things, and likes to talk...and talk...and talk! She's always up to something, and loves doing things she shouldn't be doing, like drawing on the walls, furniture, and toys! Her new favorite thing to do is make "Camp Keep reading...
